For instance, we’ve started leveraging some AI technology to create more detailed documentation for Grooper. Our CTO started this project “in his spare time.”
In just four weeks, he’s added almost a million words to Grooper’s online help resource. Now, we’ve always been proud of our documentation, thinking it was “pretty good.” But a team of three people can only do so much. The very best tech writers can crank out between 1,000 and 2,500 words per day.
To put it in perspective, in just four weeks of part-time usage, we’ve created 400 days’ worth of top-notch tech writer detail. That’s 20 times more output – and again, I have to stress that this was “part time.”
And while you can argue as to the quality of the AI-generated documentation, you simply cannot continue to ignore the power of AI-based technologies.
